The internet is rotting your brain?

Just finished Nicholas Carr’s The Shallows… The first 50 pages almost made me quit reading it. And I highly suspect he wrote them that way on purpose (in the style of Eco’s The Name Of The Rose) to underline his point about our diminished reading skills. Since the internet is changing our brains, our reading, thinking & remembering.

Crowdsource – everything!

At it’s core I think crowdsourceing is slowly fueling the biggest democratic movement in history – this time not invented by the Greeks, but by the Geeks – as I think Jennifer Pahlka put it. To be a citizen in the new world you will have to participate – because “goverment is what we do together” in a democracy.
